The California Assessment of Student Performance and Progress
Students in grades 3-8 and 11 will take the computer adaptive tests in English and math this spring. Students in grades 5, 8, and 10 will take the paper-based tests in science. The Final Date TO SUBMIT Immunization records (including Whooping Cough: Tdap) at your Elementary School is: Friday, June 3rd, 2016 - After this date you must WAIT until August, and take the official record of vaccinations to the Junior High your child will be attending.
The law - Senate Bill (SB) 172 - requires that schools grant a diploma to any pupil who completed grade twelve in the 2003–04 school year or later, and met all applicable graduation requirements other than the passage of the high school exit examination. Effective on 1/1/16.
If you believe you are now eligible to receive a diploma, please go to the home page of your previous high school, find the similar announcement, fill out the form and submit it to your high school either in person or via U.S. mail (email will not be accepted) after Monday, January 4, 2016. Please note that, if approved, it may take up to several weeks to receive the diploma.
