 Kennedy Student Interviews President Obama

Don’t ever be surprised by what Kennedy students will accomplish.  Adam Clark and a class of Government students taught me that lesson last Thursday morning.  Google’s New York offices let me know that Kennedy’s “class question” for a YouTube online competition had done incredibly well in voting, and was being selected as one of 6 for President Obama's upcoming interview.  Immediately after that, there was a Google van from Mountain View at the school preparing for a live internet town hall style interview to include Kennedy students from Ms. Santillan’s Government class.  All in the span of three days, we went from a school named after a President to actually holding a conversation WITH the President.

I want to thank Ms. Santillan and all of her students, including Adam Clark, for their bold Titan spirit and wonderful performance this week.  We certainly didn’t need an interview with President Obama to know Kennedy Titans are special, but it was a nice bit of evidence.
